Get Out the Vote

Encouraging voter turnout- a key League Action

Wear a purple vote button and wristband from now through November 5 wherever you go. People will notice. This will encourage conversation, and you can talk to people about voting in a non-partisan manner. A personal conversation is an excellent way to get someone to vote. If you need a button and wristband, get them from the office.

Volunteer at the many events that are listed on our volunteer calendar.

Look for What’s On YOUR Ballot at your library. If it is not available, either pick up more from the office and take them to the library or call 703-658-9150 and let us know that the library needs a refill.

Work with others to hand out What’s on YOUR Ballot or other materials at Metro stations or other high traffic areas. This would be a great unit project.

Let’s get a record voter turnout in Fairfax.  You can make a difference.
